What are the benefits of of enrollment in the Academy?

• Students gain experience in a college classroom. They learn how college courses can be different from high school classes and learn the expectations of college faculty members.
• Students earn official Ohio State credit and have a college transcript and grade point average.

What are the risks of of enrollment in the Academy?

• College courses may be very challenging and require additional time commitments.
• Academy students may have less time to be involved in extra-curricular activities or in after-school jobs.
• Students who enroll under Option B may be asked to repay the local school district if they drop or fail a course during the quarter.
